Our featured performer tonight, coming straight from Nashville, is Stephen Turner. He has performed in the shed before and we are honored to have him back. Stephen was born where the Red River Valley of the North meets the thickly forested countryside of Minnesota’s White Earth Indian Reservation where he proudly embraces the essence of being an enrollee of the White Earth Nation. He is a talented, passionate, soulful and heart-warming performer who takes listeners on a journey through country music’s best. He has performed on the stage of world famous Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge, the renowned Blue Bird Café, the Commodore, Honky Tonk Central, Rippy’s Bar & Grill, The Valentine, Margaritaville and other venues throughout Nashville’s historical music district. Prior to moving to Nashville, Stephen won the honorable award over 9,000 participants from Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Canada to open for Keith Urban at We Fest 2013--Minnesota’s largest annual country music festival. Meet n greet at 6:30 PM with concert at 7:00. Snacks and water are provided. Concert is free but there is a suggested donation of $10 per person. After the concert and short break there will be a circle formed of anyone interested where songs and stories will be shared. So if you are inclined, bring an instrument or story!! Our last show of 2018 is tonight!! Proud to have John Hanson here as featured performer. He comes from the college of St John's in Collegeville, MN. Some of you may remember him sharing songs last summer in a "song pull". We start the evening with a meet and greet at 6:30 followed by a concert starting around 7. We then partake of snacks and visiting which is followed by a "song pull"!! So if you are inclined, bring a song or story to share with the group. This is a free concert, but we recommend a $10.00 donation per person which goes directly to the performer. It is all held at 37021 County Highway 35 Waubun, MN 56589-9336. GPS is sometimes not the best so call and we can give directions. 480.248.5918 is my cell and cabin is 218.734.2215. A RSVP is great if you can, but not required!!
